Job Summary :

As a Production / Installation Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of production and installation processes within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around assisting with the manufacturing of products and facilitating their installation at various client sites. This position demands a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The Production / Installation Associate possesses a blend of technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with a diverse team, and is committed to delivering high-quality results.

Essential Functions :

  • Operate Power Tools : Proficiently use a variety of power tools and equipment such as drills, saws, and sanders to assist in the production and installation processes. Knowledge of tool operation and maintenance is essential for ensuring efficiency and safety.
  • Work at Heights : Comfortably work at elevated heights when required, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working on elevated platforms during installation tasks. Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of fall protection equipment is mandatory.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Quickly identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during production or installation activities. Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve challenges efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow.
  • Heavy Lifting : Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects weighing over 50 lbs. safely and effectively. Proper lifting techniques and use of lifting aids or equipment should be employed to prevent injury and maintain workplace safety.
  • Safety Consciousness : Maintain a strong commitment to safety practices and procedures at all times. Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper handling of tools and equipment, and awareness of potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Attention to Detail : Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of production and installation tasks. Ensure accurate measurement, alignment, and assembly of components to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Communication Skills : Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate workflow, address concerns, and provide updates on project progress. Clear and concise communication is essential for ensuring smooth collaboration and successful project outcomes.
  • Time Management : Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet production deadlines and installation schedules. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity is crucial.
  • Adherence to Procedures : Follow established procedures and protocols for production, installation, and safety practices. Consistent adherence to standard operating procedures ensures consistency, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement : Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in production and installation processes. Provide feedback and suggestions for optimizing workflow, enhancing product quality, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

  • Required Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or installation roles.
  • Preferred Education and Experience :

  • Technical training or certifications related to production, installation, or a relevant field.
  • Previous experience working with power tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Experience working in a team-based setting, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and measurements for accurate assembly and installation tasks.
