Job Description
The ideal candidate should already be residing and working near Pasadena, California area and thus familiar with the local electrical service industry market.
ROLE
- Promote sales using a variety of strategies. Generate leads and develop new accounts through the implementation of a comprehensive sales plan.
- Schedule weekly sales calls and customer / prospect visits.
- Track sales activities through internal management information system.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Build customer relationships.
- Promote branding image.
- Work closely with estimators, field service and engineering department to ensure positive and effective communication.
- Respond to customers bid requests.
- Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications, and addendums.
- Clarify electrical testing scope of work as needed with customer, project managers, and engineers of record.
- Participate in bid strategy meetings as requested.
- Generate final bid proposal with estimator.
- Perform field job walk through.
- Remain active with professional engineering societies and trade associations.
LOCATION
This position will require3 days a week reporting to the Pasadena office except for field job walk through and outside meetings
COMPENSATION
This full salaried exempt position will be compensated with an annual salary of 110,000$Sales Commission for services on new facilities / equipment 1% with a 40,000$ capSales commissions for existing facility / equipment 4% with no capRequirements
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
BSEE or equivalent technical school5 years of directly related work experience in the electrical field engineering services including low, medium and high voltage equipmentDirect field experience in electrical power systems (e.g., switchgear, transformers, power distribution)Hands-on knowledge of acceptance testing, commissioning, arc flash studies, or relay / GFI / infrared testingA background closer to power system engineering services, not general industrial control, lighting, or automation components.Benefits
