Position Overview :

As a full-time housekeeper at Taylor, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents. This position requires a commitment to 40 hours per week, with every Saturday and occasional holiday shifts. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine desire to interact with residents and staff in a positive and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform general housekeeping tasks such as wet mopping, vacuuming, dusting (both high and low surfaces), polishing, and other duties as assigned, maintaining Taylor's high cleanliness standards.
  • Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with residents, providing a welcoming and friendly environment.
  • Participate in training sessions to learn how to effectively support individuals with dementia and other specific needs of our residents.

Total Compensation :

  • Competitive hourly rate in the Lakes region.

    • Qualifications :

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior housekeeping experience, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting, is preferred but not mandatory.
