Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) is seeking to hire a purpose-driven initiative-taking individual interested in assisting Illinois startups and small businesses in launching growing and thriving.
This is your chance to participate in an exciting and transformative opportunity. We are on a mission to make regulatory processes in Illinois more efficient and less burdensome for businesses. Your work will directly impact the business environment in Illinois making it more welcoming and accessible. The Licensing and Permitting Portal Manager is housed in the Office of Entrepreneurship Innovation & Technology (OEIT) and will be tasked with building and maintaining a business permitting portal outlined in statute. The goal is to improve the States business climate by making it easier for entrepreneurs to navigate state requirements.
