Position Summary :

AAA United States, Inc . has partnered with a company in Plattsburgh, NY that combines more than 150 years of experience in designing and manufacturing school and Commercial Buses. The Girardin vision has nurtured the company to become an institution known for its quality, reliability, and customer service.

The Assembler is responsible for assembling various components for our buses. As an assembler, you must ensure that all parts are installed according to production specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Essential Functions :

  • Install and secure various parts and sub-assemblies into vehicles on the production line. This includes securing bolts, fasteners, connectors, and electrical systems while ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
  • Assemble automotive components, including body parts, electrical systems, interior components, and other mechanical parts in line with production specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work meets established quality standards before they are moved to the next stage of the production process.
  • Adhere to blueprints, assembly manuals, and work orders to ensure parts are correctly assembled. Understand and follow detailed work instructions for each vehicle model being produced.
  • Work collaboratively with others to meet production targets. Assist in the training of junior team members.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Requirements :

  • Experience working on a production line or in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the automotive industry.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in an automotive setting.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer as part of daily activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
