Clinical Therapist - Travel

MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL POSITION SUMMARY

VitalCore is looking for Clinical Therapist s for Full-Time Day shifts within the Massachusetts Department of Correction. The home site for this position will be located at the MassTreatment Center (MTC) at the Bridgewater, MA facility with travel to either the Northern or Southern sites.

Clinicians who are successful in this field exhibit professionalism, compassion, resilience, patience, are open to feedback and willing to implement feedback received. They are adaptable to changing circumstances, have good boundaries, are non-judgmental and possess good clinical writing skills. Individual clinical supervision, as well as team supervision, is provided. Prior experience working in the field of sexual abuse treatment and prevention is not required; all necessary training is provided following official hire.

The Mental Health Professional will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with all other disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit to provide a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population.

MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Some of the core tasks completed by Clinical Therapists include :

• Facilitation and co-facilitation of process-oriented treatment groups
• Facilitation of psychoeducational groups
• Development, implementation, and monitoring of individual treatment plans
• Timely completion of clinical documentation
• Participation in interdisciplinary treatment teams

Clinical Therapists are required to work on site at the Massachusetts Treatment Center.
