About the Endocrinologist Role
Upperline Health is seeking a well-trained and compassionate Endocrinologist (MD / DO) to join our growing specialty care team. This position provides a unique opportunity to practice within a multidisciplinary care model designed to proactively manage diabetes and endocrine disorders, with a strong focus on preventing complications such as lower-extremity wounds and amputations. This position is a clinic-based setting with the ability to provide both consultative and longitudinal care, supported by care coordination teams and advanced technologies.

Job Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered care for individuals with diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
Lead the development of individualized care plans in collaboration with other specialists to prevent complications such as foot ulcers, infections, and amputations.
Order, perform, and interpret relevant labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
Educate patients and families on disease progression, medication adherence, technology use (e.g., CGMs, insulin pumps), and lifestyle modification.
Document visits and treatment plans thoroughly and accurately in our electronic medical record system (EMR).
Serve as a key medical leader in interdisciplinary case reviews and care planning.
Support continuous quality improvement, clinical protocol development, and practice growth.
Maintain all appropriate licensure and certifications, including CME and board requirements
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with Board Certification (or Eligibility) in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
Active medical license or ability to obtain one in the state of practice
DEA registration or eligibility required
Passion for serving high-risk, underserved, or chronically ill populations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful patient and team relationships
Familiarity with or willingness to learn value-based care models and interdisciplinary collaboration
Experience with CGMs, insulin pumps, and diabetes technologies is preferred but not required
Recent fellowship graduates encouraged to apply
