PRN Overnight Youth Caregiver

Job Summary

The Youth Caregiver provides supervision, care, and a positive relationship for youth ages 6-17 residing in a therapeutic group home setting.

The core responsibilities of this position include :

• Serving as a positive influence in the lives of youth through healthy relationship.
• Planning and engaging youth in recreational activities.
• Teaching youth life skills.
• Managing daily routines in the residential cottage.
• Setting clear expectations for youth behavior and administering a positive behavior management system of rewards and consequences.
• Providing supervision and monitoring through positive engagement with youth.
• Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the cottage environment.
• Transporting youth to and from activities and other appointments.
