Job Title : Estimator – Electrical Testing & Commissioning

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Estimator to join our electrical testing and commissioning team in Hamilton, NJ. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, proposals, and quotations for projects involving electrical power systems testing, commissioning, and maintenance. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery for projects located in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and Pennsylvania regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating & Proposals

Review project specifications, drawings, RFQs, and scope documents to determine testing and commissioning requirements.

Interpret and apply standards such as NETA, IEEE, NFPA, OSHA, and local utility requirements.

Work closely with project managers, field engineers, and clients to define scope, clarify deliverables, and minimize risks.

Maintain a database of historical pricing, labor hours, and project outcomes for benchmarking.

Qualifications

Experience in estimating or project management within the electrical contracting, testing, or commissioning industry.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, estimating software, and project management tools.
