Nature & Purpose of Position :
The research project is titled “Enhancement, Security, and Vulnerability Assessment, and Forensic Analysis of SCADA / ICS Systems”. We are seeking two motivated undergraduate students from the Computer Science and / or Engineering Technology departments to participate in a funded research project focused on industrial control system (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) environments. The student researchers will contribute to enhancing our SCADA laboratory by installing new hardware / software, improving security features, conducting vulnerability assessments and supporting forensic analysis.
Other Requirements for the Position :
Students will learn hands-on experience with industrial control systems, cybersecurity, and forensic analysis. They will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art SCADA / ICS research and teaching laboratory. The students will benefit from faculty mentorship and potential for future research presentations or publications.
