Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for driving Asset Reliability. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for short- and long-term scheduling and planning of maintenance activities while working closely with Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing during the second shift. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for driving mechanic productivity by removing obstacles, solving problems, setting direction, and empowering the team.
This person will also be the key driver for planning preventive maintenance schedules and implementing measurements that will drive PM compliance.
Responsibilities
- Experience with CMMS systems and spare parts control is a must for the successful candidate. CMMS SAP Preferred
- Manage associated maintenance accounts (parts, labor, energy, etc.)
- Manage implementation of technical, process and equipment innovations
- Develop downtime reduction plans through root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain spare parts control systems
- Conduct presentations and training programs as needed
- Organize and facilitate work team meetings
- Utilize best practices from other PepsiCo sites
- Provide troubleshooting skills on-the-floor
- Plan and release PM schedules on timely manner
- Reduce overtime by optimizing Technicians efficiencies and robust PM Plan
- Understand and use department budget as per plans
- All other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager to ensure the timely execution of above tasks
- Responsible for maintaining a safe working condition by following, using, promoting, and enforcing all FDA, OSHA and EPA regulations, PepsiCo's GMP andsafety rules, policies, and procedures as well as using his / her PPE or other safety equipment while performing any job at the facility.
- Ensure to keep facilities and maintenance areas are clean and in an orderly manner
- The incumbent is expected to work independently and as part of a team
- The incumbent is expected to participate and promote the department and other meetings. Must be physically able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- This role will work with the Maintenance Manager to deliver results in key areas identified for the department
- Maintaining good relationships with vendors and contractors and follow up for task and assignment for completion
- Manage and coach maintenance team to solve daily operational issues
Compensation and Benefits :
The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,900 - $117,000.Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Technical degree is required (engineering degree is preferred)At least 3-5 years' experience supervising in a maintenance organization with experience in production preferredFluent with maintenance scheduling softwareExperience with 3 phase power systems, PLC controls, general trouble shooting and PM programsDemonstrated people and leadership skills with track record of achieving positive business resultsDemonstrated ability to achieve results the rightAbility to work in a fast paced, high intensity environmentAbility to work second shift and weekends and to flex shifts if requiredWillingness to work and support remotely as requiredAbility to stand for long periods of time, push / pull equipment.Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, and TPM concepts.Computer skills in CMMS, SAP and MS Office.Strong interpersonal skills, customer service oriented, and organizational skills required.Ability to manage multiple assignments under schedule deadlines.Safety conscious.Ability to sit, squat, bend, twist for long periods of time (6-8 hours). Lift up to 50 pounds.Flexible and open to changes.Ability to work independently and without supervision.Detail orientation and ability to organize workload. Must complete assignment in a timely fashion to keep department operational.
