Primary responsibilities of the Department Manager include : maximizing sales in all categories of products and product lines offered for sale in their department; inventory management; team member training and development; store policy / procedure compliance and enforcement; meeting daily; weekly, monthly, and annual department sales projections; providing excellent customer service; and problem solving.
