Position Summary
Marathon Petroleum Company LP is looking for a full-time Lead Materials Management Advisor. This position will report to the Inventory Control Manager. The Lead Materials Management Advisor oversees strategic inventory analysis and reporting across the enterprise, focusing on inventory analytics to optimize materials and supplies. The role includes leading KPIs, reporting, and collaborates with inventory controllers, business units, and warehouse operations. Preferred candidates will have experience with PowerBI, MS Office, MRO, and project inventory. A strong knowledge of best practices in inventory management and reporting tools will compliment the Supply Chain Operations and Materials Management position. Candidates must be dynamic self-starters who work collaboratively, are results oriented, and driven by continuous improvement to analyze trends, improve inventory strategy, turn analysis for rightsizing inventory levels, develop and support key performance indicators. This position may occasionally provide backup support to the Supply Chain Operations - Materials Management Master Data team, Inventory Control team, and Supply Chain warehouse leaders.
