About The Position

Key Responsibilities :

Perform nutrition assessments and reassessments for patients at nutritional risk or referred by IDT.

Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on clinical findings, diagnosis, and treatment goals.

Conduct Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE) and identify conditions such as cachexia, marasmus, and protein-calorie malnutrition.

Monitor patient progress and document the response to therapy, adjusting plans as needed.

Educate patients and caregivers on dietary modifications, therapeutic nutrition, and refeeding protocols.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care providers to optimize nutritional outcomes.

Provide expertise on fluid / electrolyte balance, metabolic demands, and specialized dietary needs (e.g., dysphagia, renal, cardiovascular, endocrine, GI).

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a clinical dietitian (experience with geriatrics preferred).
• Registered Dietitian, Washington License.
• Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Certificate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
