The Spa Guest Services Manager ensures every guest enjoys a transformative experience, fostering strong relationships with staff, clients, and vendors for loyalty and profitability.

As the Spa Guest Services Manager for our brand-new spa within the iconic Rusty Parrot Lodge, you bring a wealth of maturity and leadership to the table. You work collaboratively with the Spa Director and oversee and mentor a team of massage therapists and estheticians, ensuring they deliver exceptional treatments while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Your ability to handle pressure with grace and address issues swiftly ensures a seamless spa experience for our local clientele and lodge guests. From providing guidance to rolling up your sleeves to tackle urgent tasks, you embody the spirit of dedication and service that defines our spa.

Core Responsibilities

• Provides and models warm, professional relationships with guests while making reservations, recommending product and fulfilling the check in and check out processes
• Follows and ensures adherence to opening and closing protocols, identifying areas for process improvement
• Order, conduct inventory and oversee retail and backbar products, equipment and supplies, staying within budget and looking for opportunities to improve profitability
• Conducts a walk-through at least twice per shift to build team morale, maintain the space, and address any issues that arise
• Provides supervision of administrative staff and provider team on the level of daily operations and KPIs
• Assists Spa Director in all aspects of personnel management, including performing evaluations and addressing ongoing challenges
• Notifies Spa Director or other departments of urgent issues or ongoing negative trends that need to be addressed
• Meet or exceed budgetary goals
• Manages Housekeeping / Spa Attendant to ensure a spotless facility
• Maintains common areas of the spa in between Spa Attendant visits
• Understands and provides policies and procedures training in policy as well as maintaining up to date manuals
• Trains team of practitioners on the importance of strong retail sell-through
• Assists with marketing as needed and cross-trains in reservations for rooms and restaurant
