Overview

At PwC, our data and analytics team focuses on leveraging data to drive insights and support clients in optimizing operations and achieving strategic goals. This role involves advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from large datasets, drive data‑driven decision‑making, and support clients in solving complex business problems.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver on client engagements focused on pricing strategy, market access optimization, and commercial value proposition.

Partner with senior client stakeholders in commercial, market access, finance and trade to develop and implement strategies that drive sustainable value, access and growth for pharmaceutical assets across launch, lifecycle and geographic expansion phases.

Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables to meet client expectations.

Mentor and develop team members, coach on performance and promote a collaborative environment to enhance team effectiveness.

Identify new business opportunities and guide them through the sales process.

Support business development activities, including building proposals, providing thought leadership and contributing to market positioning.

Contribute to practice development through internal capability building and go‑to‑market efforts leveraging PwC’s global network.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing strategy, market access or related consulting work.

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Public Health or other advanced degree (preferred).

Background in economics, health economics or public health.

Proven track record leading large, complex engagements across geographies and therapeutic areas.

Deep understanding of payer ecosystems, reimbursement pathways, value‑based pricing, gross‑to‑net mechanics, contracting and access barriers.

Strong analytical, modelling and problem‑solving skills with experience in pricing / access analytics, scenario planning and data visualization tools.

Experience with pricing and contracting frameworks (value‑based agreements, managed entry, bundling, risk sharing).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior clients and collaborate across functions.

Demonstrated leadership, team management and mentoring capability.

Competence in analytical tools, data visualization platforms and relevant programming languages.

Ability to develop innovative approaches for lifecycle management and loss of exclusivity planning.

Experience conducting market research on payer landscapes, reimbursement policies and regulatory environments.

Ability to define and articulate value propositions in collaboration with HEOR, medical affairs, regulatory and commercial teams.

Experience advising on pricing and contracting frameworks and supporting implementation.

Experience with Medicare MFP negotiation, TrumpRx / MFN and other pricing & market access programs.

Ability to develop financial and commercial models to project pricing scenarios and revenue forecasts.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000, depending on skills, experience, qualifications and location. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
