Senior Controls Engineer - Industrial

Here's a glimpse into your day to day :

• Manage design of all levels of complexity including other electrical resources.
• Manage existing customer relationships with the intent to foster new project work.
• Specify, design, program and maintain automation control systems for a variety of industrial projects within the following markets : power, oil & gas, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food & beverage facilities, etc.
• Share your expertise and mentor Jr. Controls Engineers.
• Research applicable industry standards, prepare and critique engineering studies, analysis of systems, preliminary and detailed engineering designs.
• Develop and review engineering specifications and project cost estimates.
• Direct and review work of project design team, check progress of work and alert managers / clients to change of scope and additional services.
• Coordinate all aspects of project document completion.
• Direct contributing engineers and CAD designers for the preparation of construction and control panel design drawings.
• Develop PLC / HMI / DCS programs.
• Possess ability to interpret applicable codes.
• Independently work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to codes is required.
• Coordinate project design with other engineering disciplines. Manage installation supervision, commissioning activities, and start-up coverage.
