Our state-of-the-art physical therapy clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional care and improving the quality of life for our patients. We specialize in pelvic health and are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist with expertise in pelvic health to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and treating pelvic health conditions, with a focus on female patients. This role requires a holistic approach to patient care, combining manual therapy techniques with exercise prescription and patient education.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat a wide range of pelvic health conditions, including :

Postpartum recovery

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Pelvic pain
  • Urinary and fecal incontinence
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals
  • Apply manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and myofascial release
  • Prescribe and teach appropriate exercises to improve pelvic floor function, core strength, and overall mobility
  • Provide comprehensive patient education on pelvic health, anatomy, and self-management strategies
  • Utilize biofeedback and other modalities to enhance treatment effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, gynecologists, and urologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in pelvic health physical therapy
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the clinic's continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
  • Adhere to all professional and ethical standards, as well as clinic policies and procedures

    • QualificationsRequired :

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pelvic health physical therapy
  • Proficiency in assessing and treating pelvic health conditions, including postpartum recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, incontinence, and prolapse
  • Strong manual therapy skills and ability to integrate them with exercise prescription and patient education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice

    • Preferred :

  • Certification in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP-Pelvic)
