Job Title : Accounting Manager – Construction Industry
Location : Greater Indianapolis Area (Onsite)
Salary : $80,000–$110,000 per year
Employment Type : Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities
Oversee project accounting, including tracking owners and change orders
Manage AIA billing processes (prior experience preferred)
Perform light Accounts Payable and credit card reconciliations
Collaborate with the Controller and accounting staff
Mentor and train junior team members as needed
Adapt quickly to new accounting software and technology
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Qualifications
5–10 years of accounting experience in the construction industry
Strong skills in project accounting and AIA billing
Proficient with accounting software and Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills; fits well with a laid-back, team-oriented group
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Willingness to train and support junior staff
