Solderer

The Soldering Operator performs solder and manual assembly of various electronic components, touch up soldering and repair of components for all surface mount printed circuit boards.

Job Description

Successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of prior experience performing hand solder on printed circuit boards working with lead free solder.

Perform rework on printed circuit boards and assemblies using a variety of documents including instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, etc.

Perform microcircuits assembly requiring fine hand assembly, manually aligns parts, using IPC soldering standards.

Verify correct part placement, performs microscope inspection.

Repair and overhaul older devices and replace defective components.

Qualifications 2 years previous soldering experience. SURFACE MOUNT

Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, identify components.

Experience in microscope soldering.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some English skills a must

Familiarity with IPC and QC standards are a plus.
