Cleveland, OH company is seeking to fill a 1st shift Electrical / Electronics Technician position. This is an excellent position with a company that offers room for advancement, great benefits, and 401K. The pay for this position is competitive and will range from $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Experience in digital PCB design, including embedded processors and especially in microcontrollers, and the ability to troubleshoot with CAD design is required. Our company is currently seeking a full-time Electrical / Electronics Technician to join our team at our facility in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities :
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues down to the component level
Work collaboratively with engineers within a multi-disciplinary team to improve designs and solve technical problems
Perform quality checks before final testing
Qualifications :
At least 5 years of experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and embedded systems, preferably in fuzing or ordnance.
Ability to read and interpret schematics
Experience in design, test, troubleshooting, and manufacture of complex multi-layer electronic circuit card assemblies
Knowledge of digital / analog / mixed signal electronics, components, and interface / communication standards
Experience in digital PCB design and troubleshooting including embedded processors, microcontrollers, or FPGA-based designs
Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug / test methods
Proficiency in using test equipment such as multimeters, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, and frequency counters.
Competency in using oscilloscopes and other electronic testing equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Proficient soldering skills with surface mount components
Experience with Altium suite of PCB tools
Applicable experience in high voltage design and implementation
Experience with Microsoft Office package
Education and Other Qualification Requirements :
Technical degree or certification in Engineering Technology or related field
Eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance
Must be a U.S.
