LocumJobsOnline is working with Alumni Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Oncology MD in Cooperstown, New York, 13326!

About The Position

Specialty  Bassett Medical Center - Physician Services-AP-Physician-0013

State  NY

Location  1 Atwell Rd Cooperstown New York 13326

Requirements  Bassett MC, Cooperstown, NY

Hematology / Oncology Physician Needed

  • Must Have Active NY License

Start Date : 12 / 29 / 25 or 1 / 6 / 26

End Date : ongoing / until full time hire

Work Schedule : 8AM to 5PM; 40 hours / week

Setting : Outpatient only

Team Composition : 1 MD and 1 NP onsite

Support staff includes NP and nursing

Patient Details :

Volume : 12 to 15 patients / day (varies by patient mix)

Case Mix : ~80% Oncology / ~20% Hematology

Hematology Scope : Includes both benign and malignant cases

Procedures / Skills :

Bone marrow procedures are a plus (most handled by IR)

Credentialing & Requirements :

No temporary privileges granted

MSO processing timeframe : ~120 days (urgent need flagged with credentialing team)

Immunization record required

Flu vaccine or declination

Negative TB or QuantiFERON Gold test within 1 year of start

Board Certification required

EMR : EPIC

Rates : $5,600 to $5,800 / day
