Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing and reviewing individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065) , have a solid understanding of current tax laws, and enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues in an onsite setting.

Responsibilities

• Main responsibility = Review 1040s prepared by tax associates
• Prepare and review federal and state individual (1040) tax returns
• Prepare business tax returns, including corporations, S-corps, and partnerships
• Identify potential tax credits and deductions
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve tax issues
• Stay current on IRS and state tax regulations
• Assist with tax planning and projections
• Maintain organized and accurate records in compliance with firm standards
