Introduction Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a growing AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Charles City, Iowa. The clinic treats companion animals. Working Hours / Rota The position is full-time with flexible scheduling across one or both hospital locations. The clinic is open Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm. It is closed on the weekends. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment of illnesses, client education, surgery, preventive care, and participation in community outreach. The role includes opportunities to perform soft tissue surgery, shelter and rescue work, and engage in various clinical interests. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, with mentorship available for new graduates and leadership opportunities for experienced DVMs. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with a modern, fully updated facility that includes advanced diagnostic and surgical tools. Services offered include pet acupuncture, chiropractic care, laboratory services, laser surgery and therapy, orthopedic surgery, radiology, reproductive medicine, and ultrasound. The clinic promotes a progressive, collaborative culture with a focus on high-quality care and continual learning. Team The team consists of three DVMs and a supportive staff.
