The Core Experience design team shapes the future of Cash App by defining the fundamental frameworks and surfaces that millions of customers rely on every day. We craft the product's core architecture, from navigation to feature relationships, delivering strategic changes that push our product forward. Our work creates intuitive, performant experiences that help customers engage with confidence from day one.

This role leads the squad focused on Cash App's primary surfaces, working on strategy, design frameworks, architecture, and the major beats of the product experience. You will craft experiences that transform complex financial concepts into clear, engaging moments that help customers succeed. You will work closely with research, brand, and leadership across the organization. This role can be performed from any location in the US.

You Will

Lead project teams through early opportunity identification through development

Shape the strategic frameworks that compose the entire ecosystem of Cash App product value

Drive end-to-end customer journeys that make complex financial tools feel simple and delightful

Partner with research and content teams to transform deep customer insights into exceptional product experiences

Drive cross-functional collaboration with other teams across the organization to gather input, ensure compliance, and strengthen decisions

Set and maintain an extremely high quality bar

You Have

12+ years of experience crafting impactful digital products

A portfolio showcasing exceptional product thinking and ability to make complex systems feel simple

Outstanding storytelling abilities that blend brand expression, customer mental models, and business goals

Experience leading & mentoring other designers

Strong track record of building trusted partnerships across product, engineering, research, and content teams

Demonstrated ability to use quantitative and qualitative insights to drive product success

Even Better

Experience designing and shipping new navigation and interaction paradigms

Background in financial products or regulated industries that demand both compliance and delight
