Floor Care Technician

Performs floor care duties per duty list including carpet extraction and bonneting, floor scrubbing and burnishing (buffing, stripping).

Operates equipment safely and effectively.

Ensures sufficient supplies and equipment in designated storage areas at the end of each shift; and notifies Supervisor or designee when stock is needed to support the shift.

Maintains professional conduct at all time.

Work occasionally requires contact with patients and / or visitors which involves courtesy.

Sweep and mop stairwells to ensure area is clean and free of debris.

Strip, seal, wax, burnish, & buff floors.

Use low speed and high speed rotary floor machines and ride on floor machines.

Use scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, strippers, extractors & wet vacs, vacuum cleaners, pressure washer, steamers.

Available shifts :

• 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm
• 11pm-7 : 30am

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
