Job Description

Bullpen, on behalf of our client—an investor, owner, and operator of housing communities—is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Area Sales & Leasing Specialist to join their growing team in the Greenville, NC market.

This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on generating leads, converting prospects, and driving occupancy across multiple communities. The ideal candidate is a natural salesperson who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited about the opportunity to earn significant commissions through performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales & Leasing Execution

  • Market, sell, and lease homes across assigned communities to meet and exceed leasing and sales goals.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of leads through prospecting, community events, outreach marketing, and digital platforms.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase available homes with a focus on customer needs and value.
  • Manage and document the full sales cycle—including contracts, credit checks, payment plans, and move-ins—within the CRM system.
  • Ensure compliance with all fair housing and company policies throughout the leasing process.

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales / leasing process.
  • Follow up with prospective and current residents to encourage conversions, renewals, and referrals.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for the community and company at all times.
  • Market Knowledge & Collaboration

  • Maintain deep knowledge of product offerings, local market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing and leasing strategies tailored to the community.
  • Qualifications :

  • 1+ year of experience in commissioned sales, leasing, or customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Proven success generating leads and closing deals in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Able to travel locally throughout the Greenville area; travel outside the market may be required on occasion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
