Adjunct Instructor - Career Connections

Description

We are accepting applications for individuals who meet our minimum qualifications and who can provide instruction for Career Connections.

Pay will vary by course being taught.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)

• Responsible for course instruction, classroom management, timely provision of student feedback, and grading.
• Adapt and implement level-appropriate instructional strategies to support career preparation and workforce entry education to students in college programs.
• Communicate with students via zoom, email, and / or in-person every week to answer questions and support their progress in the course. Method may depend on course modality.
• Conscientiously refer students to various support resources on campus including Student Support, Academic Support, Student Accessibility, Mental Health Counseling, and more, with care and respect for their needs, well-being, and privacy.
• Confer with Associate Dean and / or Instructional Manager regarding allegations of academic misconduct.
• Comply with all college policies and procedures, including confidentiality (FERPA) and accommodations / accessibility.
