Security Officer - Healthcare Access Control

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Access Control in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, assisting authorized visitors, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service by communicating clearly and courteously with staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access points to the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a security-related presence.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, staff, and patients with questions and directions as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance issues according to company and site requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
