    • Position Overview :

  • Busek is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of electronic systems used in spaceflight propulsion.
  • In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to conduct testing, troubleshoot hardware, and ensure the performance and reliability of our systems.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong academic background and hands-on lab experience who wants to grow their skills in a dynamic aerospace environment.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and run tests on electronic hardware, including circuit boards and power systems used in space propulsion.
  • Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters to collect and analyze data.
  • Assist in developing test procedures and documenting results for engineering and customer reviews.
  • Support troubleshooting of electronics and test setups under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Help maintain lab equipment and ensure safe, organized testing environments.
  • Participate in environmental and functional testing, including vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMI / EMC tests.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic lab instrumentation and measurement techniques.
  • Understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, and components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities.
  • U.S.
  • Citizenship or U.S.
  • Permanent Residency (due to government contract requirements).

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Internship, co-op, or academic project experience involving hardware testing or validation.
  • Exposure to programming or scripting languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB).
  • Interest in aerospace systems or space hardware.
