Job Skills / Requirements

As you might expect maintenance, repairs, and services will be at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll

Provide prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customer.

Ensure all facility systems and other equipment are performing at optimal levels by performing routine preventive maintenance.

Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include : repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.

Knowledge of minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Examples may include : fixing leaking faucets, replacing light switch or outlet, unclogging drains / toilets.

Occasionally build furniture. Examples : carts, bookshelves, desk.

Move and arrange desks, furniture and partitions when needed.

Perform other related duties and activities as required.

Required Skills / Abilities

Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance team members.

Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend and kneel.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.

Withstand external weather conditions, such as working outside in the rain, cold, heat or other adverse weather as needed.
