GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under minimal supervision is responsible for sales, marketing, and advertising strategies within their assigned region, all admissions activity and is accountable for the census and private pay mix of the facility(ies) in an assigned region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop lead-generating relationships with referral sources, such as skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, hospice companies, hospitals, doctors, etc., through regular sales calls and strategic marketing;
- Effectively articulate company mission, services, differentiating factors, and story to the community;
- Research, develop and execute regular strategic marketing and sales plans;
- Partner with company leadership on sales calls, events, community activities, etc.;
- Attend community events with the intent of marketing Ashley Manor and creating relationships with influential members of the community focusing on benefits and features;
- Assist family members with questions, concerns, anxiety, and guilt regarding placement;
- Respond quickly to inquiries and referrals from phone calls, emails, facility visits, etc.;
- Schedule and perform tours with potential residents, resident family members, referral sources, and other community members;
- Complete admission paperwork for new admissions. This includes assessments, financial information, initial payments, up-to-date medical information, etc.;
- Assist during admissions to ensure a smooth transition for the resident, resident’s family, and team members;
- Enter sales, marketing, and advertising activity into the company’s lead tracking database;
- Deliver internal training on sales activities such as inquiries, tours, tour readiness, etc.;
- Deliver training to external stakeholders and communities on memory loss conditions, the aging process, treatments, options, and other resources for the senior population;
- Find and execute cost effective, viable advertising opportunities.

Provide regular and periodic reports and presentations on goals, strategies, results, etc.;Maintain relationships with all team members, current residents and families;Participate in and organize volunteers for resident activities;Assist with resolution of account receivables;Create marketing materials for referral sources and potential residents;Develop content for media outlets, i.e. newspaper, social media, press releases;Perform related duties as required.JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
Combination of 2+ years of healthcare and sales experience required;High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in communications, business, health care, or related field preferred;Knowledge of state rules, regulations, fire codes and other safety practices;Knowledge of all residents rights, including the right to be free of restraints and abuse;Knowledge of state Medicaid and other payer source options and requirements;Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, community partners, and referral sources;Ability to use office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, email;Ability to use computer programs such as email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft ExcelAbility to regularly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing with healthcare professionals, community partners, service providers, residents, families, team members.OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must pass a criminal background check;Must possess valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal automobile insurance;This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Work is performed both in an office and a health services environment and requires sufficient mobility and physical reflexes to perform in both environments;Must be able to lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds;May be required to work irregular hours including evening and weekend availability;Local / regional travel required; May be required to travel for meetings, trainings, or to support other facilities.DISCLAIMER
