Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager - FT

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager FT for one of our clients in Geneva, NY .

Job Description :

The Nurse Manager must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients / residents served within his / her assigned area of responsibility. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and process the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's / resident s requirements relative to age specific needs.

Skills required :

• Interpersonal skills which ensure effective communication with staff, patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Knowledgeable in the area of management systems and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective work relationships in an effort to lead others in the direction of meeting organizational objectives.
• Analytical skills to assess departmental needs, develop, and implement planned interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of applied interventions.
• Basic management competencies for the postion assigned.
• Ability to facilitate project management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Familiarity with DOH requirements. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point
