Construction Management Specialist (Lincolnwood)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a VP of Construction located in Lincolnwood, IL. The VP of Construction will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and team of 7 superintendents and approx 40 concurrent projects, managing project schedules, coordinating with our in house architects, ensuring budget adherence, and resolving all construction and scheduling issues for your superintendents daily. The role requires effective communication with tradesmen, sub-contractors and vendors, clients and internal office support staff to assure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Construction Management on multiple concurrent projects
• Experience in Construction and proficient in reading blueprints and details and creating construction schedules
• Strong skills in Managing people, as well as projects to completion and measuring client satisfaction outcomes
• proficiency in using project management software and communication tools for daily reporting and feedback loop from the field superintendents.
• Ability to hire and train superintendents, subcontractors and related staff and manage resources and workflow
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Lincolnwood, IL or Hinsdale, IL
• Bachelor's degree in Project management , construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related operations field
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus
