Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Commercial Estimator to join our team in North Charleston, SC. As an HVAC Commercial Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our projects by providing accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems in commercial buildings. As a Level 1 Commercial Estimator, you will provide support to our Lead Estimator and administrative staff.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC installations and repairs in commercial settings.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to develop accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data.
- Maintain a database of costs for materials, labor, and equipment to ensure competitive pricing.
- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an HVAC estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation processes.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Procore experience is a plus.Relevant certifications or degrees in HVAC technology, engineering, or a related field are a plus.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.You should be proficient in :
