About the Role :

The Hospice and Home Health Medical Assistant / Scribe plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of healthcare delivery by providing administrative and clinical support to Hospice healthcare professionals. This position involves accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring that all relevant information is captured in real-time, which is essential for high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant / Scribe will also assist with patient intake, manage medical records, and facilitate communication between patients and providers. By streamlining documentation processes, this role allows healthcare providers to focus more on patient interaction and treatment. Ultimately, the Medical Assistant / Scribe contributes to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction within the Hospice and Home Health Setting.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
