Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1860 - $2000 per week Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Med / Surg Telemetry RN Location : South Charleston, WV (zip 25309) – West Virginia nursing jobs Unit : 5 Pavilion - Med-Surg Telemetry (32 beds) Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00am – 7 : 00pm), 36 hours per week Duration : 13-week contract (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Weekend / Holiday : Rotating weekends and holidays required Charting System : EPIC electronic medical records Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience Prior travel nursing experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Clinical experience with post-operative and medical patients (hips, shoulders, knees, urology, orthopedics) Ability to titrate IV drips (Heparin protocol; cardiac drip experience preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations with surgical, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses Monitor and interpret telemetry strips; collaborate with remote monitoring technicians and charge nurse Titrate IV drips per protocol and manage cardiac medications Document patient care using EPIC charting system Float to other Med / Surg units or Emergency Department boarders as needed Participate in unit orientation, skills checklist, and ongoing clinical training Maintain compliance with dress code (navy scrubs for RNs, closed-toed shoes) Support a positive, collaborative healthcare environment and uphold high standards of patient safety and care Apply now to join our healthcare team in South Charleston, WV, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
