Controller

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to direct and enhance all aspects of the company’s financial management. This position oversees day-to-day accounting operations, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all financial processes while implementing efficient systems and controls to support organizational growth.

Core Duties

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and consolidate results across all business units.

Experience with AIA billing

Manage daily cash flow activities, banking relationships, and account reconciliations.

Collaborate with operations and project management teams to review and analyze project performance, including monthly progress and cost-to-complete reports.

Oversee intercompany accounting processes and maintain accurate records among all related entities.

Supervise client billing and collections

Coordinate annual audit activities and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.

Track and maintain debt and loan compliance schedules, ensuring all covenants are met.

Oversee tax compliance and reporting for all jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

Work cross-functionally with department heads to ensure financial practices align with company policies and objectives.

Analyze key performance data and provide strategic insights to leadership to support decision-making. Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of five years in accounting or financial management

Proven leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and managing accounting staff.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP / accounting software.

Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
