POSITION OVERVIEW

The Franchise Sales and Marketing Manager is an experienced and highly motivated individual who will help us expand the Burn Boot Camp franchise footprint. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Representative who has experience in franchise sales and development. This candidate must also understand how to deploy effective methods for lead generation via effective marketing, leveraging all current technologies, social media and other marketing platforms. CRM development and end-to-end sales strategy are critical to the success of this role. This role requires managing a marketing budget and maximizing ROI on this budget. This candidate should have a strong background in sales, a passion for entrepreneurship, and a desire to help individuals realize their dreams of business ownership through franchising.

As a Franchise Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales associate(s) direct report(s), formulating, identifying, and recruiting new franchise owners to support the expansion of Burn Boot Camp. You will also work directly with the Burn Marketing department and Burn Media Company in the deployment and measurement of all marketing strategies. The FSM needs to be goal oriented and have their team achieve YOY growth in unit commitments sold and forecast monthly / quarterly / annual commitments of unit sales.

  • Role will require domestic travel up to 50%

  • ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Leadership, Management, and Accountability

  • Provide strong leadership to an accelerated franchise candidate journey process, working directly with Sales Associate(s), existing Franchise Partners, and candidates, to meet / exceed unit commitments based on forecasted results. Exhibiting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Effective Forecasting and disciplined & creative approach to lead generation to increase the lead funnel for future franchise development commitment.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, delegate responsibilities effectively, and monitor individual and team performance.
  • Effective understanding of CRM platforms and utilization. Strong knowledge of building effective CRM lead campaigns, effective engagement strategies, and ability to create clear reporting to leadership of all Franchise Sales & Marketing efforts.
  • Thought leadership in franchise marketing to collaborate and report on marketing spend results to deploy an effective marketing budget that drives quality franchise leads and unit commitment conversions.
  • Plan, participate, and support special initiatives for franchise development including : trade shows, showcases, blitz campaigns, and other special initiatives proposed by Leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish policies, processes, and to promote awareness of Franchise Development efforts, results, pipeline and awareness of commitment status.
  • Franchise Sales Direction

  • Oversee the organization's franchise sales team.
  • Evaluate candidates to ensure they meet all Burn Boot Camp underwriting criteria (Liquidity, Net Worth, and Culture) and provide creative leadership to gain commitment.
  • Manage relationships with existing franchise partners to drive incremental unit growth commitment.
  • Work with Sr. VP of Franchise Development to create annual Build Your Empire (BYE) incentive program for existing FPs to drive incremental and accelerated unit commitments / openings.

  • Franchise Marketing

  • Manage the Lead Generation efforts to target qualified candidates for franchise consideration.
  • Create and manage the Franchise Development annual marketing budget to develop effective awareness and outreach to drive robust lead flow in the franchise funnel.
  • Foster relationships with Burn Marketing & Burn Media Co counterparts for effective deployment and measurement of all marketing spend efforts.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in Franchise Sales.
  • Strong knowledge of Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) components.
  • Excellent management of a Pipeline of Leads, with a track record of successfully converting qualified candidates and accelerating them through the candidate journey.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the capacity to provide direction, guidance and understanding of relevant franchise terms, territory opportunities, and sense of urgency to commit.
  • Forecasting unit commitments effectively on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, based on outstanding Franchise Lead Funnel.
  • Understanding of GIS platforms and utilization for discussing white space opportunity, site selection and spacing, impact understanding and collaboration in communicating to the real estate team to maximize territory inventory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, methodical, quality conscious and with a reputation for follow through and completion of work.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to work within project timelines, establish priorities, and meet milestones and deliverables.
  • Practice and always promote teamwork.
  • Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.
  • Certified Franchise Executive, a plus
