• End Date : January 10, 2026\n
• Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed, except holidays and orientation week)\n
• Weekend / Holiday Rotation : Every other weekend and every other holiday\n
• Float Requirements : May float between Neuro Critical Care ICU, MSICU, and other critical care / inpatient units\n
• Scrub Colors : Any color\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,100 - $2,250\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Wisconsin RN License (required for Wisconsin nursing jobs)\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)\n
• NIHSS certification (preferred)\n
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing (required)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (Med / Surg ICU and / or Neuro ICU)\n
• At least 1 prior travel nurse assignment (preferred)\n
• Strong neuro assessment and clinical skills\n
• Experience with EPIC charting system (required)\n
• Familiarity with EVDs, ICP monitoring, and neuro-specific procedures (a plus)\n
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and manage tasks efficiently\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to Neuro ICU patients, including those with stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), head injuries, and post-neurosurgery\n
• Perform comprehensive neuro assessments and bedside ICU procedures (e.g., line placement, intubation)\n
• Assist with neuro-specific procedures such as bolt and drain placements with neurosurgery\n
• Float between Neuro ICU, Medical / Surgical ICU, and other critical care / inpatient units as needed\n
• Collaborate with neurosurgery and interventional healthcare teams\n
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records\n
• Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation\n
