Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout the Company to ensure effective financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations and procedures. The Financial Reporting Staff will participate in the preparation of certain of the Company's SEC filings, including 10-Qs / 10-Ks, 11-Ks, as well as the Company's quarterly earnings materials. Other areas of responsibility include assisting in coordination of the annual financial statement audit and related quarterly reviews, annual impairment testing and maintaining the Company accounting policies and procedures (including the assistance in the implementation of new accounting standards).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of certain footnotes disclosures / MD&A in the company's annual and quarterly financial reports
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings release
- Support the external auditors with annual financial statement audit and quarterly reviews
- Assist in the asset impairment testing process, including annual goodwill and intangible impairment analysis
- Support the preparation of accounting memos to document the Company's accounting conclusions
- Aid in the tracking and implementing new accounting regulations / rules
- Assist in maintaining the Company's accounting policies / procedures
- Support the preparation of the 11-K filings and audits for employee benefit plans
- Other duties as assigned
