Seeking recent CDL-A graduates to operate regional dry van routes. This entry-level position is for drivers who have completed truck driving training and are pursuing steady, no-touch freight assignments on a regional schedule while representing the employer professionally at customer locations and on the road.
Estimated annual compensation : $70,000 to $80,000.
Home time : Two days every other week.
Equipment : Late-model Freightliner tractors; automatic; fully equipped. Freight : Dry van; 100% no-touch.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport dry van freight on assigned regional routes according to assigned schedules.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly identify and report defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and required maintenance documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and follow customer delivery instructions and schedules.
- Conduct oneself professionally at customer sites and during interactions on the road.
Minimum qualifications :
Valid CDL-A license.Completion of at least 120 hours of truck driving school within the last 12 months.Minimum age : 21 years.Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements for commercial drivers.
