Accounting Associate
We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Associate to join our team. This role involves processing payroll, managing financial transactions, and ensuring accurate documentation of all financial records. Responsibilities include processing payroll, handling credit and ACH transactions, balancing books and performing journal entries, maintaining proper documentation of financial transactions and payroll records, processing ACH transactions for payroll and vendor payments, assisting with month-end closing duties, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, performing 3 Way Match, collaborating with the HR department to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee payroll information, and assisting with benefit enrollment for new employees and managing any claims that arise. Essential skills include 1+ years of bookkeeping and / or accounting experience, preferably with a warehousing / manufacturing background, experience with payroll processing and journal entries, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, and experience with ERP systems. Additional skills and qualifications include a degree preferred with 1-3 years of relevant experience, entry-level candidates encouraged to apply, strong communication skills, ability to work in an office environment, team player with the willingness to grow within the company, and ability to work independently.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sewickley, PA. The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $28.85 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
