Load Planner Customer Service Focus

Location : Long Beach, CA | Full-Time | Drayage Transportation

What Youll Do :

  • Coordinate and assign container moves across multiple terminals and schedules
  • Manage load planning with a focus on accuracy, time sensitivity, and service
  • Communicate with customers regarding ETAs, delays, and updates with clarity and professionalism
  • Work closely with dispatchers and drivers to ensure execution of the plan
  • Maintain accurate, timely data entry in TMS and port systems
  • Flag and resolve issues before they become service failures
  • Monitor appointments, demurrage risks, and terminal constraints daily

    • What Were Looking For :

  • Minimum 2 years in drayage, intermodal, or a high-volume logistics environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail small mistakes have big consequences here
  • Clear, confident communication with both customers and internal teams
  • Comfortable juggling priorities in a fast-moving, deadline-driven role
  • Tech-savvy with TMS, port systems, ELDs; McLeod experience a plus
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is a strong advantage
