Job description

Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Family Practice Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 5, 2026. This position offers a flexible 4-day workweek with 8am to 5pm shifts, providing comprehensive family medicine care to patients of all ages in a clinic setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule : 4 days per week, 8am to 5pm; schedule may be flexible

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient family medicine coverage for all age groups
  • Conduct sick and wellness visits, addressing acute and chronic conditions
  • Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as cold, cough, and flu
  • Manage chronic care needs
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care

    • Additional Information

  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
  • Active California medical license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Tribal healthcare experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
