IOP THERAPIST (MA / MSW) - Part Time

Responsibilities

SUMMARY STATEMENT & PURPOSE

The Clinical Therapist provides psycho-social assessments, consultations, mental health information, psycho-education , crisis intervention, short-term supportive therapy, group therapy, SUD evaluations, and discharge planning. They use evidence-based practices to help patients achieve optimal mental and emotional health.

All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful , and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staf f, and visitors of the Hospital , as well as being a positiv e representative of INBH at all times.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or a related discipline.
• Must obtain an Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC), or Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (SWAIC).
• Direct experience in individual and family group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Current BLS , First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation certification, provided by INBH.
