Job description

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Fellowship training or substantial experience in obstetric anesthesiology is required.

  • General and obstetric position
  • Schedule : physician daylight coverage M-F 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM (General); M-F 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 30 PM (OB)
  • Call : All days - beeper call and in-house OB call, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
  • CRNA supervision, 3 : 1 concurrency target
  • Hospital has 19 anesthesiologists and 49 CRNAs
  • Academic appointment : yes
