Job description

Local CDL Route Driver

Elko Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, is hiring now for a Local CDL Route Driver in Elko, Nevada!

If you're a licensed Class A or B CDL driver who wants a steady, full-time local route with great pay, early morning starts, and you're home every night, this is your chance to join a team that values safety, reliability, and community.

Pay & Benefits :

  • Starting Wage : $29.00 / hour DOE
  • Safety Bonus Paid annually
  • Boot Allowance

Schedule :

  • 4 / 10 Schedule (Weekdays, Non-consecutive)
  • Start time : 4 : 30 AM , Ends when route is completed
  • Overtime available
  • Major Holidays off!
  • No overnight or long-haul driving

    • Job Details :

  • Drive automated side-load, front-load, and roll-off trucks
  • Pick up and transport waste to disposal sites
  • Safely operate trucks and follow all safety procedures
  • Complete pre / post-trip inspections
  • Interact respectfully with customers and the public
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep

    • What You Need :

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass drug test and background check
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English
