The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is primarily responsible for export logistics, the execution of shipping services and compliance documentation activities required for in / out-bound shipping activities. This is accomplished through expediting deliveries as requested by Customer Service, monitoring scheduled shipping, and providing aid to truck drivers who come to the RDC. 1st Shift Schedule : 6 : 00AM-2 : 00PM

A Day In The Life

• Act as a liaison between our Distribution Center and Customer Service teams utilizing email, in-person, and radio communication.
• Train new and current employees within the department.
• Generate month-end reports, including the first and last ten shipping documents.
• Manage damage out and scrap materials as needed.
• Address receiving discrepancies, including overages and shortages.
• Create inbound numbers for internal & 3rd party vendors.
• Create and update reports using Excel, Word, and Power Point, as required by DC Manager(s).
• Monitor expedite e-mail box and work with leadership to ensure shipments are made on a timely basis.
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
• Utilize and work in various vendor portals. (Lowe's Link, 4PL, Amazon, Grainger etc.)
• Attend / direct incoming truck drivers and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining positive customer service attitude.
• Monitor shipping reports within SAP / BlueYonder to ensure all shipments are posted daily.
• Create domestic and export shipping documentation as required.
• Work on assigned misc. projects related to warehouse processes.
• Create intercompany & customer PO's, including purchasing warehouse and office supplies.
• Provide subject matter and trouble shooting assistance related to the shipping & receiving duties.
• Flexible to work and train on other shifts.
• Other duties within Shipping Office as assigned.
