Staff Infrastructure Engineer

Zoox is seeking a talented Staff Infrastructure Engineer to lead the development of test infrastructure that supports manufacturing tests for our autonomous this role you will drive the design and development of major infrastructure and platform components such as databases REST APIs containerization CI / CD pipelines and tester orchestration. You will also lead a growing team of engineers and collaborate closely across manufacturing hardware and software teams.

In this role you will :

• Direct and contribute to the development of a test framework to support all factory testing at Zoox manufacturing sites
• Design and implement server infrastructure to support manufacturing test activities
• Serve as the technical lead for best practices across areas such as database schema design optimization regression testing and API design
• Drive the development of common code libraries for test engineers including coding standards code coverage testing and maintainability
• Design and build dashboards for manufacturing data including metrics such as throughput and tester utilization
• Grow and mentor a talented team to meet the challenges of scaling

Base Salary Range

There are three major components to compensation for this position : salary Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling as well as positioning within a level is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to a candidates relevant years of experience domain knowledge and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
